Disable / Enable AD Replication

IT Problem

You need to /want stop AD replication. This is a simple command line function.

IT Solution

1) Select Start
2) Then select Run
3) Enter “cmd” and then click OK.
4) To disable outbound replication from the server, type the following text, and then press ENTER:

repadmin /options +DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL

5) To re enable outbound replication from the server , type the following text, and then press ENTER:

repadmin /options -DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL

Are you available for remote consultation. I’m currently running 2012R2 domain, and DCdiag indicates no errors. I’m trying to migrate to Win server 2019 essentials. I’m getting a
a verification of outbound replication failed error when doing a promotion to DC controller. Can you assist. Proved fee please.
