Problem

When you google anything google trys to predict where and what you want to search for, alot of people on the google forums are complaing that this feature is enable by defaultm i prefer to manualy enter what I want to search for and not have google suggest what I search for..
Here is a step by step guide on how to disable google instant / google search preview.

Solution

So, see below, i start typing google and its trys to second guess me..

So we need to turn it off. To do so, on the homepage of google in the top right hand corner you will see the settings button.

Click it and select “Search Settings”

A new screen will open, scroll down the left hand side until you see the instant section

Then simply select disable and save your settings.

If this is a pain for you you can set your homepage to the URL below and this will also not use instant..
